Andrea Taubman graduated with an AA in Business and Communications at the University of Puget Sound.  She attended the Seattle School of Travel at the Sea-Tac airport simultaneously discovering that travel was her passion.  She went back to the Bay Area to pursue travel opportunities where she landed her dream job as head of group travel for a company booking and traveling with groups of 200 or more traveling all over the United States for their annual meetings.  She acted as the liaison assisting attendees with anything that came up.  She became a CASA (court appointed special advocate) for children in 2003 for 10 years in the Bay Area.  At one of her CASA’s galas, she was approached by an HR director asking if I would like to consider job with her company.  I took her up on her offer and worked with her for 6 years.  I received my certification in HR training and development at the UCSC in Santa Clara, CA. She also has her certification in medical transcription and her massage therapy certification.  In addition, Andrea has been a Senior Patient Advocate for 11 years, and Elder Care Advisor for 5 years, a CSA (certified senior advisor) for 11 years and now holds her CSCM in care management.  Andrea’s favorite things outside work are baseball, art, music, helping those that are not as fortunate, volunteering at the local JFS and other local charities.  She loves collaborating with the Parkinson’s project, Epilepsy foundation, Alzheimer’s and Dementia, as well as the Conversation project, friends, laughter and family.
